Do you consider yourself a liberal @pyrotechx

1. willing to respect or accept behavior or opinions different from one's own; open to new ideas.
2.
relating to or denoting a political and social philosophy that promotes individual rights, civil liberties, democracy, and free enterprise.

Gun control goes against the definition of liberal. (Individual rights)

Silencing, censoring, and protesting differing opinions goes against the definition of liberal. (Respecting differing opinions)

Both of these are supported by modern day “liberals” who are basically just authoritarians in disguise.

Nope, not a liberal. I am for gun reform, not gun control. You can have gun reform without impacting a person's right to bear arms. If it takes a person 2 weeks to get a gun over 2 hours, that is fine with me if it ensures mentally unstable individuals are vetted first.

Protesting does NOT go against liberal ideology, btw. It is literally enshrined in our constitution the right to protest. You can protest whatever you want. That is AMERICAN.

Liberals are not authoritarians in disguise. You know what is authoritarian?
-Trump's own FCC threatening ABC unless they remove Kimmel.
-Trump himself saying they will sue ABC for bringing back Kimmel.
-The people who doxxed and demanded firings of individuals because they had their feelings hurt by people who said Charlie Kirk wasn't a good person (prob not authoritarian, but embarassing and sad for the supposed "freedom of speech" crowd).
-Trump sending literal troops to states that he deems an emergency to attack citizens and Trump himself saying they could use full force if necessary(when there is none or there is higher crime in red states).
-Trump's ICE deporting American Citizens.
-Trump's grip on GOP to make sure they don't release the epstein files.
-I can go on.

That is authoritarian.

So, spare me.

I’m assuming you have the same views about people being fired for misgendering someone then also?

Well, was this at work where the person requested to be called something else? If it is workplace, they have their own rules. Should someone be fired over it? No, but there is a difference between me calling you a man or woman at work and doxxing people on their social media with the pure intension to get someone fired from work or have death threats sent to them.

I also don't mind calling ppl whatever tf they want to be called, though, I am not offended by simple crap like that.

But it also begs the question, are you going to reach out to HR if every man and woman calls you Mrs., Female, Woman, Ma'am, etc. (assuming you are male)? Because, by your own logic, there should be no repercussions for calling you such.

I’m talking apples to apples on social media. I just want the standard to be the same for both sides. Liberals just don’t like getting a taste of their own BS. They did all this same censorship stuff under Biden. Kimmel was gloating so hard when Tucker Carlson got fired, and the shows up crying because he wasn’t on air for a week. The hypocrisy is insane.

Tucker was fired as part of the settlement deal by Dominion and Fox News for lying to the American people about the 2020 election, which also cost Fox $787 Million Dollars. Kimmel was pulled over an opinion/joke about the Kirk shooter being one of their own (MAGA), which turns out it, from what I can tell, was not politically motivated. I don't think Kimmel should have claimed that, since it was live and we didn't have all of the data, but he was more or less annoyed by MAGA assuming it was far left ideology that caused it.

So I understand the firing on Tucker considering it was literally due to him lying and defaming an entire corporation and hurting their business. That's just the way the courts work. Kimmel was fired to literally please Trump and his FCC. That is literally why they brought him back, to avoid litigation, and loss of revenue that quickly started accumulating.

Kimmel lied too, the kid wasn’t MAGA. That’s the problem with liberals - cope, excuses, dodging, squirming your way out of everything to make your point.

A lie is a lie, doesn’t matter who tells it.

This is just and silly and misleading as goomshill’s thread. Everyone wants to pretend that only the other team does bad stuff. The reality is there are shit heads on all sides of the political spectrum.

He didn't lie. He made an assumption given the context that the bullets had far right Groyper messages and the kid came from a very conservative family that showed him shooting guns, dressed as pepe the frog, and trump for Halloween. His assumption was wrong. He did not continue to go on, like fox news, and claim he was right or anything.

If anything, the right copes the hardest. Where are grocery prices? I thought they'd be down day 1? Where is this health plan that was a "concept of a plan"? I live in a red state and even a poorer area, and the only thing "down" is eggs, and that was due to the bird flu and literal greed.

All I hear from the right is copium and lies. They literally lie to themselves because they can't accept reality. Literally had one guy say beef was "way down". It is record high since 1980.

There is nothing misleading here. I post right wing terrorism. They post left wing. This is literally saying it happens on both sides.
