I'm from Michigan and heard this on the radio when I going out to get my lunch today.

I don't know why anyone would want to go to a church on Sunday and shoot people. I'm a Christian, grew up as one. I don't really go to church these days as I'm one of the types that believes more so in living the message than going and living platitudes at church on Sunday.

But, even if you disagree with religion... The modern day Christian isn't really the crusaders of the past, so I don't know why this would even be considered.

Take note that the suspect was in his 40s... AKA he grew up in a generation where not everything about politics and this side and that side beliefs.

Just venting tbh, just don't really understand why people do this sort of thing, school shootings, etc. But with the actions that speak louder than words, this was a clear attack on a church and its people rather than anything else.

I think social contagion fueled by media reporting is the largest contributor to the mass shooting phenomenon in America.

Sad news though.

We may learn more about the 'why' in coming days, we may not. Not all cases are immediately obvious like the boat shooter yesterday who was a schizo after taking a bullet to the head that scrambled his brain.

"Let's make it about his political identity and not the "mass shooter pills" "suicide pills".

The shooting doesn’t appear to be politically motivated based on the little information we’ve seen so far and the shooter appears likely to have been a republican fwiw.
