Want an example of how bitcoin dies?

Government makes a digital currency, then they all blast though their partizan news channels and tell everyone how amazing it is. Bitcoin would probably lose a ot of its mainstream momentum. Once a democrat is back in office - ABC, CNN, MSNBC, etc will all run whatever stories they are told to run.

Bitcoin has its overall mainstream success tied to government acceptance. You think Russia and China can’t just shut down bitcoin completely in their own countries if they want to?

sure this is possible with bitcoin and with anything else, if you have criminals in control they will push for govenment issued digital currency over bitcoin so they can control humanity, its peoples job to ensure this doesnt happen, but we can see atm the U.S goverment is going in the direction of bitcoin , along with other countries around the world such as Africa and El Salvador.

Everything the global criminal deepstate controls is being dismanteled and replaced
Legacy controlled media is losing viewers by the day and being replaced with solo journalists and the criminally controlled global financial system is being replaced hopefully with decentralized crypto currency, just hope it stays on this path

The best thing that could happen to bitcoin would be FDIC (or any kind of) insurance. That’s another thing working against it. Is there any recourse yet if someone steals your wallet?

Nothing in life is perfect , sure your wallet can be stolen, use cold wallets and memorize your seed phrases best you can do
with the current system the bank can deny u anytime they want

Legendary Bitcoiner, Andreas Antonopoulos, explains why governments who attempt to regulate #Bitcoin will fail miserably.

What needs to happen is all taxes in the world be removed and only have one tax, a consumption tax, a small tax paid anytime u make a purchase, and this would mean that the IRS would no longer be needed, which is why Trump has mentioned this, and mentioned Tariffs could possibly lead to the removal of taxes on citizens.

Bitcoin is secured by bitcoin miners, the more that mine it around the world the more secure it is. The amount of power right now needed to 'hack' the bitcoin network is impossible and will only become more impossible over time.

"you need 51% of all the Hash Rate currently hashing BTC to do a 51% attack. The attacker has to keep 51% hashrate from that point on to avoid being forked."

So let me get this straight. We should get rid of all our cash, all our credit cards. Cash that our government has only been printing more of [for both good and bad reasons I admit, they do be doing shady shit] for a digital only, finite currency that would instigate our enemies [who are much better at cyberattacks than we are.] and give them an avenue to attack our financial infrastructure. We might as well install a giant neon kick me sign over america. Simply thinking that Russia and china are incapable of taking bitcoin down is the highest levels of preposterous, especially once their biggest enemy makes it their biggest or only currency.

all countries will have mining companies in their countries that secure the bitcoin network. Meaning no one country can control bitcoin. And it doesnt matter what i want or what i think its clearly happening regardless of what i say or think. But yes Currency that goes up in value instead of what we have now which is always going down on top of inflation causing prices of all things to increase. Thats why citizens are always struggling nowadays, devalued currency with inflation kills all people, always.

You’re already digital only. How much of your overall money do you actually keep in cash?

Its run by a computer. It doesnt matter what math or systems and protections are behind it. What happens when its hacked? Hijacked? All stolen? Locked down by ransomware? Gummed up by worms? Battered by email viruses to its users? And on, and on, and on...

Also, bitcoins are finite. And the price is always fluctuating, what happens when the price tanks? Does the current maximum price range of bitcoin even come close to the every day needs of americans? How about the needs of the government? The military? You do know other countries use bitcoins as well correct?

Do you understand the complexity in hacking a decentralized ledger? A majority of the nodes would need hacked. Possible but not probable
