I would say we certainly had a demographic that was incredibly hostile to anyone expressing well warranted doubt or skepticism about the vaccines. The approach should have been one of persuasion that the pros outweigh the cons and that some people who are less likely to die should still get the vaccine to help minimize the harm to those who aren't as risk free.
Voluntary vaccine prophylaxis(generally for those at higher risk) would have been fine, just like it has always been fine with the flu vaccine.
There was no justification for all the "herd immunity" lies peddled by scientists. If they believed it that's even worse because it means we are trusting morons with organizing disaster response.
There was no justification for vaccine mandates or vaccinating children who were at no risk from covid with a vaccine whose risks were so unknown that the manufacturers refused to be held liable for it.
You seem to nearly be agreeing with this. That's a good start, but agreeing that that it's fuckin obvious and what was actually done was stupid, criminal and immoral would be better.
