When people say natural sugar they mean in the thing they are eating. If you dump condensed natural sugars in the form syrup into yogurt thats still equivalent to adding sugar to something.

If you had a little bit of natural maple syrup, good. Chugging maple syrup like a Canadian, bad.

Toss some shredded cheese on top and bake it after and they'll think you worked real hard
