Today's generations are being forced to be old, bypassing their childhood. They're dealing with feelings, passions and subjects way beyond their years. They don't get to enjoy a wonderful childhood.

Once upon a time they could play outside till late at night and feel safe. When they dreamed they use to have innocent dreams of playing with their friends, kicking a can, blue skies on the weekend and reading wonderful books.

Music being one of the oldest forms of media use to have a tone of innocence. In stark contrast today's music is the furthest thing from innocent. Dealing with extremely mature subjects. Tv, movies and video games display things like murder, dead bodies and explosions. Which today's youth are exposed to day after day, night after night.

When older generations of youth went out with their parents, the people they saw dressed more appropriate. These public people didn't have underwear or their bra showing. And people use to say yes sir, no sir, yes maam, no maam. Men stood up for women and nobody was afraid. People watched out for one another, if they saw a thief they called them out, they didn't turn a blind eye and pretend to see nothing.

People felt a sense of value contributing to their community.

Lost my train of thought and this thread probably isn't landing.

Depends where you live. Areas with Lots of diversity or single moms raising their kids like in big cities you’ll see problems.

Midwest smalls towns <20,000 You see kids outside playing all day even all night, Parents don’t allow their kids to stuff their faces in ipads all day. Most kids are in sports and there aren’t many cliques that make kids feel like outsiders. Nerds get along with the “popular kids”.

I moved out of cities and life feels great again. Just less to do lol

It was never about acetaminophen

It was about Parents (Man & Woman) being responsible and using intellect.
Once upon a time parents use to plan to have children, they stopped any bad habits. Working together they'd eat healthier foods and only participate in activities safe for pregnancy. Making responsible decisions for their families future.
Now by the time mom knows she's pregnant she's been drinking, smoking and partying for two weeks+, then becomes emotionally stressed out over a decision to keep it. Too many children are created from irresponsible drunken intercourse.

pro-lifers not so virtuous
just one drink won't hurt, just one smoke won't hurt, just one this, just one that...
Just one pharmaceutical (acetaminophen) won't hurt...
You put junk in, you'll get junk out, no matter how you try to spin it.

Trying your best isn't good enough
If your excuse was 'I tried my best', that's not good enough. You're creating another human life, this person could go on to change the world. Or sit in your basement drooling and playing video games all day.
It's a 24/7 job being a parent, you don't get to take time off. From conception to adulthood, you have to nurture and care for this human to give them the best chances for success. You don't get to pick and choose when it's convenient for you.

Trusting strangers with your body and choices.
You go to the doctor or hospital and accept what they tell you as fact or truth. Take the time to research the chemicals, vitamins, minerals etc they want you to put in your body.
Let's say for sake of debate acetaminophen to reduce fever really does directly link to increased chances of autism in your yet to be born child. Not so long ago, these same "professional" were telling you to take it, and you did!

The lottery of life.
Even if you do everything within your power to be healthy, make intelligent decisions and care for the child, you're still at the mercy of genetic lottery.

Filling the child's mind with propaganda.
Dumping your child off at the curb of a government run facility, 'school', where their head will be filled rhetoric in which you've not personally reviewed is irresponsible. The guise of education, particularly public education, has an agenda that is not set by you or your family. 'shaping young minds' is one of their slogans.
Children are born innocent, someone has to teach them information. Shield their minds from evil. This also involves you abstaining from activities that can teach them the wrong things. From inappropriate content to radicalized religion, someone has to introduce these things to their mind, sometimes that person is you or the people you allow them to be around.

The environment.
Broken people create broken people, if the child grows up watching their parents fight and yell. They're more likely to grow up fighting and yelling to solve household problems.
Crime infested areas create a bubble which can trap your family into a revolving system, get your family out of these areas, preferably before you plan a pregnancy.

What's wrong with society? Parents are what's wrong with society.
Don't go crying to big daddy government when you choose irresponsibly and stupidity.

Humans have children, goats have kids.

maybe but wouldnt it be alot easier if everything we consume wasnt filled with poisons that harm us. And if government agencies did their jobs to try to keep these poisonous ingredients out of products, i mean these agencies sole job is to do just that, but seems they have been compromised

Idk why people are making a big deal out of this, it’s just guidance.

If you want to pill pop Tylenol still - have fun. No one’s stopping you.

There are some papers loosely relating aspartame to cancer. Guess what? I like Coke Zero and I still drink it. Wow crazy concept, I’m an adult making my own decisions.

Families... My family was broken by divorce (she wanted to live her best life). I get to see my kids 4 days a month. So what should I be doing with my time. Sorry, but I'm going to enjoy every precious moment I have with them. They have 1 chore to do per day, but other than that, let's celebrate.

On a side note, I did hear that Kentucky has a 50/50 default now and divorce rates have plummeted there. Win for families and men?

Tylenol themselves tweeted in 2017 that pregnant women’s shouldn’t take it.

Trump repeats it and now it’s a problem and liberal women are making videos on social media of them potentially harming their unborn children.

Someone please make it make sense 🤣
