It seems the meta has shifted from traditional walkzon to telezon. What led to this? The change to dodge/ avoid/ evade? Is walkzon still a viable build or outclassed? Thanks.

Walkzon is still the strongest performing in pvp tournys etc!

Telezons lack the dmg, and the break points fcr/tele are really bad for zons. They are alot more viable now then before tho.

It really depends on what type.
The lack of wsg is deadly for walk zons, but it has been compansated by not beeing stunned by dodging, as well as the new fhr rule.
So a walkzon will have more damage, and wont need any focus in the fcr area.

But if you start 3hybriding and such, then a telezon is way better. But people prefer to make rules to fit their 20+ year old meta builds. So plague is banned.

WSG desync longer exists.

Try both if ur unsure.

Theres not many items u need to swap for the 68 fcr breakpoint tele zon compared to walkzon.


Main cost of the build is gonna be inventory anyway

Unfortunatelly most of the rules dont allow to use Plague because of cry babies locked in 2001.

Rest split between CS, fury and synergies.

A walk zon is simply dead vs a smiter or necro. The rulesets, NA and EU, favor necro's and well, a smiter has Grief. A telezon fares better vs these two classes in particular, but also does better vs other classes. In Camp vs Rush, a Walkzon is used. However, it is probably only a matter of time before the Camp vs Rush setup incorporates a tele zon, or removes the zon, ending the entire notion of camp vs rush.

gel87 highlighted the main issue: with WSG greatly reduced, a walk zon's magic disappearing act has been removed. That is the key "problem".

Pretty much this. Ideally frw and res as well in diadem, life too if can afford.
The gloves should have 2java skills.
I would say around 15 plague, and 4-7 psn jav. Dont remember excactly
