so i buy all the stuff for some loaded burgers..
google how long to pan cook burgers..
yes ik i suck at cooking.
BUT i cook them as instructed,
go to take a bite, what do i see?
bright pink in the middle..
wow. so i had to microwve my " restaruant style"
burger for another 3 minutes for there to be very little pink

Dear diary, I hired a private chef and it was awful

Cover them a little bit while cooking, give them a steamie if you don't want the pink

Or pan seared smash burger would just be salty char on both sides. No pink.

You probably made the patties too thick or you have low quality cooking equipment. Your best bet is always to use a thermometer (160°F for ground beef).

im so mean to myself. im taking a long walk to forget about it and i keep calling myself an idiot. i was hungry so i ate the whole thing but i read the cooking instructions wrong. it said 3-5 minutes per side for rare- or medium rare. 6-10 minutea per side for mesium well,
and ON MEDIUM HIGH HEAT. rereading this
on google realising i not only , only cooked each side for 4.5 minutes but also on medium heat bs med high. doyy me

keep at it. being able to cook has a big payoff

I guess it all just depended on how thicc the burgers were

No reason to beat yourself up over a medium rare burger
