Hello dear D2 community!

I'm down to my last two characters to bring to 99 in HC; Nercomander and Druid

I want to level one of those two to 99 in HC in season 12 but i am hesitating.

Which character would be the fastest to 99?

Bone necro into poison/CE Necro
Wind druid into Fire Druid

I've played quite a lot of Necro and its a good density clear but it sucks for bosses. I haven't played much fire druid but i heard now its Stier and can clear bosses much faster then poison necro.

What do you guys think? Which build would hit 99 the fastest and safest (HC).

If you are playing in a group there is no difference in leveling speed really.
Solo I'd probably opt for druid.

You can build a druid like a tank.
Necro is usaully played more passively.

interesting. I dont have a group i'm mostly going solo farming p8 zones in baal games/mf games.

I'm just worried druid might not be as fast to clear p8 solo then poison/CE necro.

Anyone can preach fire druid kill speed?

Fire Druid best for bosses.
Necro more fun tho.
I guess, based on your post and what you want, you’d be happier with Druid.

I'm not a very expeienced necro player.
I know that CE falls off in bigger party games.

Nova Nec and Fire Druid will both need beefy gear to be able to solo p8s.
I've played some fire druid in party p8 games with usual speed runs such as chaos sanctuary and there it does not perform as well as the meta chars due to immunes.
If you take more favorable zones I can see him doing well.

Yes CE falls off on p8 thats for sure.. I think i'll go with druid.

Seems to be more tanky, better for bosses and similar density clear speed.
For gear i aim at top gear
