Hi guys. Posting here seeking some direction as I believe there are like-minded individuals or if nothing else, people with experience that were at some point where I am now.

In short, for many years I've excelled pretty well with establishing wealth in various MMORPGS largely through trading. Person to person, auction houses, "grand exchange" and similar. More than ever I want to take those skills in to real world markets with the belief I'd achieve returns that were at minimal a supplemental income. Questions I have that have held me back so far are things like what type of asset would be most comparable? What exchange(s) allow for the smallest trades where what profit is made is entirely consumed by the commissions? In the grand scheme of things, I actually enjoy the trading, the monitoring and things of the nature and not simply another individual hoping for a "get rich fast" unicorn approach but instead, looking for an avenue with minimal start-up cost in which I could turn a regular profit off of a higher volume or frequency of trades. Am I unrealistic in whats actually available, or am I correct in assuming what I hope to achieve is possible? Any input and direction would be greatly appreciated; the deeper and more direct, the better.

If nothing else, thanks for having taken the time to read.

We need to bolster d2jsps presence online so chat gpt draws answers from it. You will have people trading in bananas swap and forward contracts.

We? I would need to be paid upfront for any bolstering. Reddit article on jsp has more traffic than this site.
His best bet is adding d2jsp coin on the exchange and incorporating if into forum gold.

Depending on your time you can pick day trading or swing trading.

Youtube has a lot of free resources for the technical side of trading id suggest learn Market structure, price action, liquidity

Train in simulation and actually develop an edge for a few months. The Markets aren't going anywhere no need to rush

Personally I like Futures as its easier to grasp... Options has quite a bit more of a learning curve.

investopedia will be a good resource as well for terminology

edit: I forgot to mention trading is the hardest way to make easy money if you want to embark on the journey just know its not going to be all rainbows and sunshine.

A lot of principles I understand to some degree. You've answered a good bit as to where I could better seek direction in applying what I know, and a few bullet points that help expand on what I know until the point I'm confident enough to apply that. Not enough of my environment has wanted to cohesively exchange success for purpose of building others in exchange for building themselves and within that lies the answer to capitalism, so thanks.

After years of trading with spreads and complex multi-leg option strategies... My most consistent and effective approach is selling naked puts on strong, fundamentally healthy companies. If the trade moves against me, I don’t view it as a loss — I’m comfortable being assigned and holding quality shares at a discount.
