Your original post does not take anything Jimmy said into consideration. Your post was 100% a blame game towards the president/fcc.

What bothers me is you will look for any other possibility rather than looking at the root if any problem. You just want to pretend Jimmy did nothing wrong in this case and that is just not a fact.

Freedom of Speech doesn’t counter an employers right to fire you if you don’t represent their company the way they want.

My problem isn't that Jimmy got fired. Or that Jimmy may have said something wrong. My problem is that the reason Jimmy got fired is because the fcc got involved and threatened the parent company.

What was the harm to the public in Jimmy being wrong? It's an evolving news story and the motives of the shooter are still being debated.

You're still jumping over the reason I'm trying to get you to focus on. You are still ignoring why people got involved. It doesn't matter who gets involved if the reasoning for the termination is legitimate, which in this case it is.

You needing someone to explain to you how long-term fake media has impacted the mass public is pretty wild to me.

In order to get things back to the best interests of the public we're gonna need some firm actions taken to show it's important we focus on genuine and accurate media coverage.

Judging by the amount of other media outlets/channels that are communicating this situation I'd say the word is effectively getting around, as long as people state the proper reasoning for everything that took place. (Accurate media)

It's almost as if you're implying that just because Jimmy is a smaller portion of this bigger picture it should just get overlooked? I disagree.

An individual has 2 choices to rob a bank or rob a piece of gum I feel the proper education/consequence should take place with that individual. It's all about working towards the better outcome, regardless of how small you think it is.

Kid steals something small and continues to get away with it they will further see how much they can get away with. A person uses a media outlet to post fake news and misleads a smaller community, as others and bigger communities get involved were are still heading in the wrong direction.

The state of our overall media has aggressively gotten worse throughout the years with no care to improve it and we have traction towards ensuring we have proper coverage.

Tldr, Jimmy made a mistake and received a proper consequence with a real purpose behind it.
