So of us have been calling for a revolution for years.
The civil crisis is here and now. Radicalize the plutocracy and pull all safety net concepts out from under the population (right disables safety of the left, left disables safety of the right, population 2x screwed). The crazies become weaponize tools then when they should either be treated or actually locked up.
It used to be softer civil strife. Things like progressive institutions using protestors as pawns to block pipelines with promise to bail them out of the trouble temporarily before court dates.
Now it's hard civil strife. Multiple public visible assassination attempts on POTUS. Successful assignations of sitting representative s (MN) and political influencer now. ICE clashes with protestors seem more aggressive from both sides. Guilty/Evil by association logic such as with Elon and Tesla.
Anyways, the goal posts for hard civil strife have moved dangerously close to the end zone of civil war.. That being said, I don't even know what that would look like on the modern era.
I stayed out of the Charlie Kirk speculation for better part of a week, but gauging the rhetoric now, seems divisions only grew.
