Are you new to America? Naturally it's a good thing if you have been following gov't decisions since Reagan. You think suddenly they're going to be using legal workers? Spare me. That would impact food price statistics too negatively.

Well ideally I'm just taking Trump's words from his own interview after farmers have made so much noise. He said he needs to make a order to not deport those ones lmao.

I'd much rather see the unemployed be working. That does not appear to be the plan though.

Do you have a source? Am only seeing remarks on farmers from couple months back. More recently a lot of media in regards to soybean exports.

Farmers in particular seem to complain about some government entitlement yearly. The ones employing illegal workers have no sympathy, shut them down IMO. Similar to slavers, part of the human trafficking problem in USA. The ones disproportionately impacted by tarrifs more reasonable for bailout. Although, a farm is a business and generally don't like government intervention to hedge risks on a private venture. Surely some of these farmers have diverse portfolio of crops, and risk-adverse planning for annual hardship.

A farmers poor planning and exploitation of human trafficking does not seem like a good candidate for government intervention.

That being said, I'd hate to see more corporate buys gobble up failed farms. Surely government can figure out how to funnel the unemployed to the need and.remedy the tarrif hurt on the vulnerable if they choose.

Conservative corps did wonders in MN remote sites. That doesn't seem very Maga though

Twas in June, keep the immigrants here for farming and hospitality. But that still does not appear to have kept farmers shielded from tariff damages.

I think farming is likely more complex than it ever was now with how your giants have Monsantos have made it illegal to use seed from one years harvest to the next. That's just one of many examples. The gov't long ago now let corps ruin the American farmer. Now you essentially have to bail them out at the cost of tax payer money which inturn goes back to private corps destroying yet again another sector.

I voted for this

Quote
President Donald Trump is preparing to sign a proclamation on Friday that would impose a new $100,000 fee on H-1B visa applications, in one of the most sweeping overhauls yet of the program central to the US technology industry.

They will also increase the wage requirements in order to prevent companies from undercutting American workers.

America first.

Yesterday:

Oh fuck we deported the farm workers and hospitality workers.

Get rid of them all, come what may.
Don't even want any legal ones here.
Getting to live here as a foreigner should be impossible.
