Well for one, separation of church and state should keep religion out of schools but we see how that’s playing out these days. The Bible is full of inconsistencies and encourages terrible things like rape and murder, etc. Also, there are hundreds of different religions out there, all of which believe themselves to be the “factual” religion. It’s a joke. Religion has also been used as a justification for wars, persecution, and terrorism.

Technically religion is history
Since thousands of years of human history has been shaped by religion.
Now having kids open bibles in schools is only okay if they are privately funded religious charters
Anywhere else it's just straight up state funded right wing indoctrination.

All public schools already teach students principles of Luciferianism.

Many of you like religion or dislike religion and only understand what you do or don't read.
You don't read everything or do research to prove what you find.
You're unwilling to take the time to read what you oppose and or support.

Religion also has been responsible for a lot of good things. Notably the rise of science in the mid 1000's.

Sorry to hear you have no clue

There is a good chance the course has nothing to do with teaching the religion and more to do with how belief systems and philosophies impacted history. The initial label was probably from years ago and someone finally brought it up.
