I wasn't around osrs in 2021, can you give me more details how the experience was back then? A lot of bans, very little bans, no bans? Any changes?
A lot of inbox messages (jagex inbox) where they would basically explain they caught you, and if you do it again, you're donezo. It was a big scare back in the day, but nothing came from it for the most part - just bans for sellers as usual and these "scares" for buyers. Looks like they're actually taking action against buyers now though, at least for the time being. I'd imagine they'll have to balance being harsh enough to send a strong message/ripple through the community, but not so harsh that they lose too many actual dedicated players.
