I half agree in that I think this could (and likely will) escalate things. But we’ve already had this. Melissa hortman was killed just 3-months ago. People have been fire bombing Tesla’s, Josh shapiro’s residence was set on fire, there were two attempted murders of candidate trump, people tried to kidnap the Michigan governor. Hell it’s already been 5-years ago that a mob invaded the capital wanting to hang the vice president of the United States and would have gleefully killed a good number of representatives like AOC, pelosi, Adam schiff, etc had they found them before being stopped by the police. The list goes on and on.

This represents more escalation and some will take it as a new permission structure to respond from their side. But sadly what we’re seeing isn’t something brand new.

Unfortunately that is accepted on both sides now. The very second you acknowledge “trans” people as being a real thing, you have lost. Same as homosexuals.

The argument is no longer “trans people don’t exist”. It’s “to what extent trans people are is debatable”.

Here in the next 20 years when we are arguing whether or not people are born furries I guess we can be upset about that.
