Various colonial governments and later the U.S. federal government engaged in declared and undeclared armed conflicts against Natives, this was known as the American Indian Wars. :D
The piss poor morality and ignorance of the Western WHITE Anglicans who genocided Native Tribes that were there before them by potentially 1000's of years. But you got Jesus Christ and Allah who need to save people so you have to genocide the entire Americas and multiple Indians along the way including the exploitation of the Indians and Chinese laborers from India/China NOT African slaves.
It was called "manifest destiny" in our public education history books. What it really was was white people using advanced weaponry to slaughter people who brought no detriment or harm to the land. Indians lived with the land not ON it like the white folks who came here.
Moral of the story Indians have more of a right to their ancestral lands then you just because the US government owns it and calls them "reservations" doesn't mean shit.
