What exactly is a Monday Croc and how does one differentiate it from Crocs allocated to different days of the week?

Those are good question. According to my imaginary cat, Schrödinger, you are right in stating that it may be one of life's greatest challenges, e.g., it may be impossible to differentiate between Crocs as they are all in a state of quantum indeterminacy up until we interact or look at them. So, we do not know which Crocs they are until they are seen and worn.
Monday crocs are the ones all the way to the left! :)
