This is not a D2JSP scam post.


Its a POE2 scam. There are new bots that keep watching the trade website for potential either D2jsp trades or RMT trades, since almost no one ever looks at the item 2 bots go to your HO, and start spamming trade request for both, for you and for the person ur trying to trade. What ends up happening is that the bot got the divines and the 2 original traders keep thinking who scammed who. Be aware, happend to me today, everything caught in video.

Wasn't there some sort of inability for the public to go into someone's hideout or am I missing something here?

i encountered this. lucky for me the first guy i traded was the right guy.

someone else immediately traded me and put up the same item type. I was completely thrown off I thought i got scammed but luckily the first guy was the right guy.

Its really easy to go now cause of the new instant buy trade.

im only trading outside my own HO now... Like trial of chaos.

might be the dude buying who is also the same dude trying to scam.

it doesnt make sense to me that someone else would know the trade happening right there and then, down to the right item type.

I thought the same thing until it happened to a friend and someone I've been trading with for a long time. Honestly, I really don't know how they know the trade will happen, but just the fact that the possibility exists is reason enough to be careful.

I don’t get it, the guy buying divines here just buys the item via instant trade, there are not any other interactions. How would a bot doing a scam? All he could do is buying that item himself but then he just has a random trash item and nothing else?

Or are you still trading in person even with the new merchant stuff? Well it’s about time to stop that I guess
