I don’t know how I actually did that right after me and my girl broke up

But officially 7 days ( 1 week sober now )

Going for the hot streak of 1 month now

A hot streak is a period of repeated successes or exceptional performance in a particular activity. It is most commonly used to describe success in sports or gambling, but it can also refer to a burst of high-impact work in a creative or professional field.

Good job on the quit! Keep it up and remember that even 1 beer or nug can put you right back in the same cycle! But you're not going to do that because you're strong enough to say no! B)

Aren't you supposed to be -10% soon too? :)

At this point you kind of have to. Even if you do why would I congratulate someone for something so basic in life? Its like saying congrats on learning how to tie your shoes.
You were told countless of times not to drink, the drugs are bad all through out your life and yet you did it anyway now you expecting a some kind of praise.

Bragging about not being a complete failure and your participation trophies (in form of AA chips) isnt something to be proud about.
How about you become a useful member of society and not make it a thing out of it, because thats bare minimum for the rest of us.

For someone who has basically struggled with addiction my entire life, sobriety milestones absolutely mean something, just say you know nothing about addiction or recovery next time.

Did your parents feed you alcohol and drugs when you were a baby that made you an addict? No I dont think so. You chose to indulge in toxic and harmful substances out of your own volition.

So don't come here playing the world's smallest violin. You made your bed. This is a find out moment for you so enjoy it, because I certainly am.
