How many of you guys went through childhood without hearing a single peep about politics? I have, and it seems like children are being exposed to politics much more than we were. Like there's a halloween picture of this kid in like his teens with Trump. I bet a lot of this is due to gaming being shit nowadays

He and millions like him formed an opinion based on some cognitive bias that's not rooted in anything real. For most that's not a big deal, they'll move through life with this bias but not become violent, but there will always be a subset of the population that's not discerning enough and actually believes it especially when the MSM and social media amplifies this type of stuff. For about 10 years now really famous people, well educated have been non stop labeling other nazis, arguing such people deserve to die for their words, and so on. So don't be surprised the crazies that have been fed this actually believe and are acting on it.

We've always had this scuffle over misidentifications of terrorism / political violence as people try to pin the tail on the other donkey. And I always say, sit back, read the details as they are pouring in, the amount of time it takes to sort out the actual motive/identity is less than it takes chicken to defrost on your countertop. Whats different with this attack is that there are some AI generated materials flooding social media. Not all of them are malicious or misleading fakes, some are just trying to AI upscale the grainy footage and could have been made in a good faith attempt to identify the guy 'with AI' which of course is fucking pointless. But the AI stuff is out there right now
