Is canuck milk both censored and price-gouged? Nowhere in the US but Maine, PA and Alaska can fuck up their prices that badly, and every store sells whole milk.
$2.57/gal milk and $7.92/12 pack coke are the actual prices if I go to the walmart 10 minutes away right now, numbers I can check without needing to set foot in a walmart thank god
Canadian milk is quite expensive, the USA is likley far more unregulated and if I recall the USA dairy segment recieves decent government subsidy while ours has minimal and has pricing that's formated so a profit is realized for farmers after costs.
By way of google the average gallon of milk in the USA is 4.16 for the country as of July per the Federal Reserve Bank.
But regardless, the premise again is quite untrue now of fat or obesity indicating wealth or lavishness in a first world country. In fact now most data indicates its an inverse relationship in the first world countries. The poor being fat the upperclsss having less rates of obesity.
We have gone inverse from the days of old. Which again that's pretty well supported at this point. Obesity might indicate yeah you're not in DRC Congo or living in a dump in india, but it's certainly no lavish quality of life indicator in America or any first world country now.
