This post is a violation of the site rules and appropriate action was taken.

Well a better example would be the republican dude attempting to assassinate Trump

Is it really that hard to wait 1-2 hours?

Trump gave in when he realised he had lost and that his little coupe had failed, ashley babbit died and all of the momentum fell out of it, he was still on the phone demanding that people commit fraud to keep him in power and was charged with that crime.

relating to Matthew Dowd, a political analyst for MSNBC, FIRED, He said quite a few things.

My understanding is he was fired for saying:

that the shooter might have been a supporter firing off a celebratory shot.

my view is this detracted from what else he said, which was:

political / rhetorical environment in the U.S. — particularly divisive or hateful rhetoric — can lead from thoughts to words to actions.

The sad reality, in my opinion, is that the foundation of free speech has aided a political led division of the US, resulting in the country becoming deeply polarized, with the political establishment seemingly content with this reality. I find this deplorable. It's simply wrong for a country to be unnaturally split down the middle like this. In much the same way the US has forced the rest of the world to group together, there is an argument for an external body to galvanize the US to be more united. In the absence of such a body (i.e. our waking reality) there is no evidence to suggest the US will reset / reconcile with itself.

In the meantime RIP Charlie Kirk

So the 2026-2028 election youth outreach for democrats consists of holding multimillion dollar retreats at lavish hotels so DEI and LGBT activists can try to figure out how to reach the young men they hate.

wolves trying to convince sheep to let down their guard

in the end, the Democrat message is basically - yeah we want you dead, but that's hard to do so we have to toe the line, so vote for us because Trump is orange or something

USA 4.31 per 100,000 to CADs 0.57
But its nice that you leave out the parts where CAD has an entire population of 41.7Million people to USA's 340.1Million ;
also you left out the fact that CAD has 35 guns per 100 people to americas staggering 120 per 100 people.

Point and see, read and say.
Someone take this guys bop-it away.

That's why the rates per capita...

Holy they need to fix USA education.

I don't know if "hate" is the right word, but young men without perspective are literally the worst group of people. They are a burden to society and the reason why immigrants and refugees are so frowned upon - they are disproportionally young male losers and those are much more likely to be criminal, especially physically.

The correct solution is to provide those men a perspective, the worst solution is to do what right wing populists do and tell them somebody else (like DEI, wokeness, the women who do not want to sleep with them) is the problem for their woes. Where is the party of personal responsibilitiy?

They aren't ready for this conversation lol

Your odds of being killed in a mass shooting at school are absurdly low. It's such a rare occurrence. You have 2x the odds of being struck my lightning. You have a FAR greater chance of dying in a vehicle. Hell, kids statistically have a far greater chance of dying on a skateboard or bike.

But people don't want to hear that. They act like it happens all the time. Even with ;"school shooting" stats skewed because they count any gang related shootings on school property as part of this as well.

Actually we just had this conversation in another thread last week and it was in part rational to why it's quite irrational to think you need a gun on your hip or vehicle console or need handguns at all. But no one liked that. Because freedom and such.

Charlie Kirk's message to young men was that they should reject a culture trying to lull them into eternal adolesence. That they should take responsibility, get married, get a job, have kids, be a productive member of society- instead of being self indulgent and indolent. That was his perspective and why he kept picking up followers at colleges. Why young men list their #1 priority to have kids when it doesnt even break top 5 for young women.

Who do you think shot him? If I throw a bunch of labels out, how many would turn out true of: Transgender, NEET adult, unmarried, no kids, self obsessed and delusions of grandeur.

One guy did.
Not at least half the US population that doesn't support his narrative.
