Thankfully I am neither Left nor Right and not American. I am looking at this from a different lens. I believe it should all be exposed and discussed. To the point of the Right wing assassination attempts, they are also disgusting.
But what is happening in the public eye, to make an example, to cause chaos, etc is truly disturbing. "They" are normalizing death to all age groups, all media platforms, war, genocide, corruption, etc.
You're right - the divide will just increase. Humans with no compassion though.. scary times.
It doesn't matter if you are not left, nor right. We still have to face reality. I am in a similar position as you as I like people on both sides of the fence. People celebrate when their ideology is furthered by violence.
I am more saddened by this than by any other fact.
