I am open to metaphysical, parapsychological, and spiritual experiences and hold beliefs outside of strict materialism. I just don't think any one, specific belief system has a monopoly on truth. I know we're just half-joking, but interesting to think about. Hope he's either able to recover, or dies in relative peace if he's to die from this.
based on the amount of blood he lost in what looked like a split second he was consciously dead instantly. got hit on the direct line of blood to the brain, so he's just gone instantly. they may be able to revive him, but im sure he'll have severe brain damage if so. outside of what i imagine is a direct blood transfusion back into the jugular inside of a minute or so his brain is too blood starved to survive. boy do i hope im painfully wrong.
