I'm better off playing NL because I take too long of hiatuses, in which Ladder has already reset by the time I come back. But there's only ever 2 games in NL open at most.

At this point I'm starting to feel like HC is a waste in general and I should just play NL SC, because at least there's an active community there. Maybe invest in my Hunter gear that I know will always be there and try for my first 99 character or something.

Seeing a page full of games is thriving in my book, especially when the trading forum has a new thread every 30 seconds.

There is enough games to do what you want. Yes its not as populated as wow, poe2 or similar, but this is an ancient game. So yes i stand by my word THRIVING!
