Please don't bring my kids up into your strawman.

Tis not yours specifically it's the current thought the majority of North Americans are having to consider.

That's current reality. An uncomforting feeling that most parents have to bare now knowing that future likley holds far worse than the past generation.

>future is bleak and social pressures are increasing and quality of life destabilizing
>breakdown of social order is an unrealistic fringe scenario

Your two precepts are conflicting
As I said before, every American generation has seen troubles in their lifetimes since the start of this nation, and we're positively utopian compared to european history. It doesn't take any prognosticating skill to anticipate that a country that sees race riots and civil unrest every decade is going to have them again in the future, including our lifetimes. And when the police are under siege inside their precinct they aren't going to answer your call when someone is breaking into your home.
And as I repeat, I still have some spices in my cabinet older than the last time a rioting mob burned someone alive in my city. I mean, what dish am I supposed to cook with saffron? Some rice to pair with beluga caviar and a bollinger 53?

No it's not. Future can be bleak and you can have a society willingly go down that path. To think otherwise I would think would be a denial of the current state of affairs as well as your own kids futures.

I hardly think the average individual thinks all is well and if you would survey I imagine most also feel helpless. Certainly guns aren't reassuring them. We're not talking about some race riot. Get your mind off shooting blacky that's not what I'm referring to when I talk about the a decline for the average American.

Why do times of tumult and risk have to provoke helplessness?
The best years of American excellence have followed its times of trials. When people have the tools and opportunity to make things better. Maybe the helicopter parents who can't imagine their boy growing into a man in his own right, have such issues- because overcoming challenges is part and parcel to the human condition. When society restrains people and tells them they aren't allowed to make their own decisions or protect their own interests, well that's both an aggravating factor in creating times of trouble as well as a fundamentally untenable state of affairs that inevitably collapses in favor of liberty.

You can yeild significantly more calories for cheap out of bad food though. Look at pop vs milk. I'm not saying options don't exist but if you have actually looked into offerings in many areas across the USA healthy foods are not even carried in some. It's just garbage processed and sugar foods.

Again you have ultra third world with obesity issues. Your entire thing of fat represents wealth as it once was is the dumbest shit I've heard. That's not at all a representation of common day.

If you think Gen z or alpha or the ones to follow are going to enjoy the qualities of life boomers or Gen x have you're living under a rock. I'm not saying times are not better than the 1800s tilling a field doing hard labour I'm saying they're degrading over the last 45 years which everyone and their dog can see.

The American dream has had to shift from owning a home having 2 kids a wife and 2 cars in the driveway to hoping one day you don't have roommates.

And no many how many guns people own, won't make a difference there's no civil uprising coming just a continued slow erosion. Guns offer no actual freedom as nutters may have you believe.

just stfu you're an idiot to think that per dollar that soda is the same as milk... like just go smash your head on a table to fix your brain... soda has no animal fat or protien and you're comparing it to colored sugar... LMAO

No, people go with the cheap option. People are buying groceries on credit. Calorie to calorie soda is cheaper they dont care about health they care for what is cheapest. You didn't make a point. The total opposite actually.

Uhh you have over 100k posts probably dedicated to the degenercy of gambling and you're taking issues with my posting on here.
