Your coupling of gun rights and byproduct issues, freedoms, and American erosion is as hard to follow to be honest. Is anyone free? Why do archeologist find stashes of arms? Would your concept of erosion and suppression of the population be better or worse in the long term without citizens having these means?

You're still a first world country yes but there's been significant workers rights erosion in the lady 45 years since Regan. As far as obesity as an indicator of QoL nah, don't think that's as it was in the past when fat was seen as attractive due to wealth. Now your cheapest options is shit foods which more and more people have to turn to. It's the opposite indicator of what once was. People can't afford fruit and veggies so they eat total cheap trash.
