Beans have:
  • protein
  • fiber
  • complex carbohydrates
  • vitamins
  • minerals
  • they are low in fat
  • antioxidants & phytochemicals (reduce inflammation and may protect against chronic diseaes)


I love making apot of bean stew with a heap of chunky potato bits and carrots. :drool:

every year I allow a sizable portion of my garden to go to seed, so next year I can plant.
But also so I have... BEANS!

seeds are protein, beans are seeds, beans are protein! :thumbsup:

I love all of those beans but if I'm making a pot of beans, I'll make pinto beans! :drool:

Also, I'm about to take a shower so I can do my part in making General Chat smell great again! B)
