Looking to get sober and get a job but not worked in SO LONG

I really need a job to get back on my feet

How do I start the process to even job search or become employable

I've been a drug addict for many years

If serious, reasonably sober, and can be responsible to show up to work if hired, I would try not only applying, but asking to speak to someone who is hiring at the places which may be hiring. Speaking to someone involved with hiring makes a huge difference than just dropping off a CV/resume. I wish you all the luck. There are jobs out there and even if entry level, you can start to network for a better job in time.

Well I would probably wait until you know you can pass a drug test before applying anywhere just to be safe incase they drug test. Some places don't anymore but you never know. What kind of experience do you have or what jobs have you had before?
