I've just started to play and I'm a bit confused, do you need 1000 skill points to assign one battle skill? Gear doesn't drop at all, is quest reward giving you one after gathering each 10 quest items?
Any tips or advices are more than welcome as I'm trying to understand the game mechanics.

I don't play Heroesrpg but I've heard about it... It's a very old browser game and afaik not very popular...

My advice for you would be to start playing either stellar odyssey or manarion instead as those are both newer, active, and are still being updated regularly ;)
You can also get advice for starting those games a lot easier B)

How did you hear about heroesrpg anyway? I haven't heard it mentioned in a while :o

There's a wiki in the very topright most part of the screen, near the logout and forum buttons.

Battle skills aren't really skills...they increase the likelihood of performing a certain action for each point you spend on it. For example, dodge 1 gives you 0.02% chance to dodge enemy attacks per skill point you assign to it.

The only gear that drops is accessories (rings and amulets). You start with a full set of gear, which you can upgrade using upgrade stones.

Quest rewards give you Quest Points, which can be spent in the Upgrades tab.

I tested it and it wasn't for me. Progress felt very slow and it feels like the developer abandoned the game without finishing half of it :D

Iqrpg is from the same developer and it's much better but having actions not perform while browser is offline is horrible. I would imagine that making actions work while offline wouldn't be too hard but I am not a developer so I can't say much :D

IQRPG wasn't open for new registrations for over half a year due to the developers incompetence.
I would put my faith in Stellar Odyssey or Manarion if I was starting a new PBBG-adventure, as mentioned above.
