I know they buffed drop rates but last season it took 2 weeks for prices to reach what they are now, like exalts and divines. Even astramentis selling for a divine. They gotta make drops harder to get

if you're talking about non-seasonal, everything is cheap there cause all the season 2 toons got moved to non-seasonal/standard so there's an influx of everything currency, items, etc.

that happens in every game like this.
diablo 2, 4, etc

first drops are usually worth a lot, like first ber rune is 15k fg or w/e. first divine on jsp is probably 2k or w/e.
it's a common currency in the end-game, it'll tank fast, every hour people are playing, more of everything is being found and posted ft.

Bro after 2 weeks last season divines were going for 600fg. This season 2 days after release they’re 400fg

Idk about POE2, but in D4 season 9 for example, duped mats tank in-game gold rate down to like 2fg per billion within the first week.
Now the dupers have moved on, that same in-game gold 1billion = 30-35fg per now.

It's just how the game/market/dupers/botters/etc etc goes. Affects everything.

My only logical guess is that botters increase efficiency and whatever as the game goes on. The same happened on D2R, first 2-3 seasons were insane in terms of FG making but by now by the 2nd day a ber rune is like 500fg. Guess the same is happening to PoE2

the amount of players is way lower, likely less demand. but also people know the game and can level quicker.

I think this is because game is figured out now and groups of people no-life it to get as much fg as possible early.

why seasons aren't really fun for people who have a lot of IRL things to do, play some D2R SCNL for the sustainable pvp

thats not true at all, last season also droped super fast.

the very first season might have been like that? tbh i cant remember but i do know last season divs were under 600 in a few days too
