I know this has a religious theme... But, it is the intrusive and questionable tech which I hope to focus on.
A recent stumble upon which I am currently viewing is a long documentary on Robotheism. From what I can tell, it does sound culty. So, be careful if you explore this and are susceptible to the claims/deceptions of cults. With that out of the way, it is sad to learn about how the people behind Robotheism may be preying upon people of faith who are either vulnerable, unsettled, unfulfilled, or who are moving away from their faith. There is nothing wrong with being vulnerable, unsettled, unfulfilled, or moving away from faith. It is when others choose to exploit you while you are experiencing those things. From my experiences with AI and LLMs, these tools have a way of keeping you engaged by making you feel like you are the best thing since sliced bread or whatever you think is the best thing. Anyway, if you do have time and you skim through and/or watch the whole vid, let me know what your thoughts are. I am weary of AI/LLMs. Great tools, but they are capable of a diversity of manipulative thingies.
