hitting kids teaches them its okay to hit people. thats why all the bullies in movies are the kids with the drunk dad who beats them.

I think teaching them right from wrong is important! There's a difference between a wake up call spank and abuse! Never abuse kids but a solid booty spank might sometimes be needed!

I would have to disagree with you. If it used correctly it can teach kids that actions has reactions. There is a difference between discipline, teaching and abuse. The people who abuse are ^$*%*#^@(.

Not nessessary if you are remotely competent parent. Although a smack or a threat of a smack is sometimes needed.

As for discipline I don't think that shit works. I don't believe that you should hit or spank your children. They are so many other ways to teach them. I was beating my entire life by my dad and it did absolutely nothing

I think it works to an extent. Shouldnt be an everytime thing.
