Water it with salt water but it will kill everything else too and nothing will grow there for a long time

have you tried a heavy coating of lime or straight salt

I would try shoveling them up first and hit the roots with salt water like Scuba_Steve said! Maybe some kind of weed killer might work? :unsure:

It's why coastal cities don't use sea water to fight fires, using it on a cactus is just like using it on a slug.

Very interesting! I wonder if it works well on the roots too! I think just mowing over the cactus is just going to make a mess! :)

would you add dawn dish soap to help it stick?

i guess i can google it but how much salt would you add to a gallon of water?
