The problem with going to a polling station is not everyone can make the time.
Many Americans now work extra long hours or two jobs to make ends meet.
Also many cities reported understaffed polling centers for the 2024 election cycle for minority neighborhoods. 100% done intentionally I'm sure.

i recognize that Trump has a seriously uphill battle any time he talks about Putin, as the russian agent claims go back a full decade at this point. But he really is terrible at it all the same. Invoking Putin as a person we should listen to on election secutiy? you could buy a russian election with a train full of vodka...

i just hope gerrymandering get so bad and so lopsided that congress finally writes a bill to stop it, even though the SCOTUS may strike it down as a states right's issue. then maybe states individually can follow suit assuming their respective supreme courts dont also strike it down.

what a waste, billion in legal fees just to prevent districting even a toddler can see is badly done.

Trump just spouting off retarded things as per his usual course of action at this point. When he said USA is the only one using mail in ballots, I thought what the fuck, here I am in Canada and just used one last cycle.

Got friends from all around saying wtf to this also lol.... guess he said later that "he could be wrong about it" like really....

My understanding is the existing mail in ballot systems being used are vulnerable to either being lost, cast by another citizen, or hijacked and used to obtain signatures from vulnerable voters (Something about nursing homes and the like being targeted). Problems with putting the ballot in the wrong box or people making fake ballot boxes to delete votes.


I'm not sure the risks balance out against the convenience here.


I think it needs improved to reduce these risks. Maga rewind 100 years is equally risky.

Perhaps the old school way favors the manipulation of the Reds and the Blues better at molesting the mail in.

1. Trump is an idiot, even if the idea is good, he says factually dumb things

2. Mail in ballots have flaws but removing them with no replacement is even more flawed. It's like fixing a broken foot by cutting your foot off.

3. The right solution is to ban mail-in ballots and then create a mandatory federal holiday so people can vote without going to work. This will never happen because the true goal is to stop working Americans from voting

If what you say is true, then stop the fraud. It's still not an excuse to disenfranchise millions of legitimate US citizens who are mostly white and would like to vote.
