I went down the street when i saw two police officers who was inspecting a bunch of motorcycles in front of a biker bar.

They talked about how they could get them out without having to call in reinforcements. I said I could handle it, and without waiting for them to answer.

Iwalked over to the door of the bar and opened it, while i held the door open i shouted two transvestite are messing with your bikes.

All hells angels immediately ran out of the bar, then i let go of the door and said all present and accounted for.

The two police officers smile and started asking their questions.

I walked across the street and took the first bus out of there

If you have a tall tale share it

I was walking down the street one chilly evening when I saw the tiniest little girl running up to me with wide, hopeful eyes! :)
She looked no older than six or seven, her clothes were torn, and she had no shoes on her feet! :(
Her small hands tugged at my sleeve, and in that moment I could see both fear and trust shining in her eyes!
I bent down to her level and asked if she was hungry, and she nodded so quickly it broke my heart!
Right then and there, I made a decision that would change both of our lives forever! I took her to the nearest café and ordered her a warm meal, and she devoured it with the sweetest smile I had ever seen! :)
I went out and bought her a soft sweater, new shoes, and a little stuffed bear that she held tighter than anything in the world! ^_^
She didn’t say much, but her eyes spoke volumes, and I could feel her spirit clinging to the hope that someone finally cared!
Over time, I made sure she had a safe place to sleep, healthy food, and the comfort of knowing she wasn’t alone anymore! B)
I began the legal process of adoption, determined to make her officially part of my family! The day the papers went through, she looked at me with tears in her eyes and whispered, “I have a Dad now,” and my heart melted completely!
Now she fills my days with laughter, questions, and endless hugs, and I can’t imagine my life without her! What started as a chance meeting on the street turned into the most beautiful gift I have ever received! :)

Me and Cannibal Girl went out late one night looking for humans to hunt down!
She had that wicked smile on her face, and I swear her eyes were glowing in the dark!
We thought we had them cornered in the old barn at the edge of town! B)
The floorboards creaked under our steps, and we could hear their panicked breathing just a few feet away! :)
Cannibal Girl whispered that she could already taste the victory, and I laughed because I felt the same way!
But then, before we knew it, the humans broke through a window and sprinted into the night! :(
We tore after them as fast as we could, but the forest swallowed them up before we could catch a single one!
Cannibal Girl stomped her foot in frustration, and I couldn’t help but laugh at how close we were! :fume:
She grabbed my hand, grinned, and said the next hunt would be even better! ;)
And I swear to you, the way she said it made the night feel colder than ever!

The fluorescent lights hummed faintly overhead as Lila stepped into the small, sterile lobby of the restaurant! The smell was oddly sweet, like overripe fruit, but somehow metallic beneath it! She straightened her uniform—a borrowed one, the fabric stiff and unfamiliar—and glanced at the clipboard in her hands!

The manager’s office was behind a frosted glass door, labeled “Mr! Halloway” in curling gold letters! She knocked, and a voice called softly, almost gurgling!
“Come in, come in!”

Inside, the man was already sitting behind a desk too wide for the tiny room! His smile was slow, patient, as if it had been practiced in a mirror too many times! He gestured to a chair!

“Sit!” he said!

Lila obeyed, her heart quickening!

“Do you like shadows!” he asked, eyes glinting!

“I… um, I guess!” she said, unsure if that was a normal interview question!

“Good!” he murmured, scribbling on a yellow pad! “Do you talk to mirrors! Not like, out loud! Just… sometimes!”

“I… no, sir!” she said, frowning!

He nodded, as though that was exactly the answer he expected! “Do you ever taste colors!”

Lila blinked! Her stomach had started to flutter! “No, I don’t think so!”

“Interesting!” he said! “And when you walk past a tree, do you imagine what it would feel like if it were human!”

She laughed nervously! “I don’t think about that, no!”

He leaned forward, elbows on the desk, and smiled wider! “Most people don’t! But here, we like to imagine!”

The questions continued: the way she folded her hands, the way she smelled soup, whether the sound of chewing was ever… too loud! Each one left her feeling off balance, like she was walking through a dream that didn’t belong to her! By the time he finally leaned back and said, “You’ll start tonight!” Lila felt as though her skin had thinned, exposing her to some quiet, watching thing!

---

Her first shift was worse! The kitchen smelled faintly of iron and something sweeter she couldn’t name! Orders came in silently, as though the voices of the customers were trapped in the air! The cooks moved without speaking, slicing meat and arranging trays! She noticed that the meat was oddly pale, too soft, almost… human, though she immediately shoved the thought away!

By the end of the night, she had delivered trays to tables she hadn’t seen being prepared! Customers ate quickly, some coughing, some turning pale! The manager appeared beside her, whispering, “They always taste better this way! Poison first! Fear second!”

“What… what do you mean!” Lila whispered!

He smiled, wide and patient! “You’ll learn! Every bite comes from them! The sick! The willing! The unaware! We recycle them! They leave! We eat!”

Her stomach churned violently, and for a second the floor tilted beneath her! She tried to step back, but the trays she had carried seemed heavier, sticky, warm! The sweet metallic smell was everywhere now! Her mind screamed, but her legs moved automatically, delivering food, setting down drinks, all the while the manager’s voice was soft in her ear!
“Imagine! Taste! Transform! Enjoy!”

She ran to the back, but the exit was gone, replaced by walls of pale flesh-colored tiles! The kitchen was endless! Meat hung from hooks, wrapped in sheets, the faces of the customers floating in her memory on the menus! Her reflection in the stainless steel was hers, but thinner, paler, eyes too wide, lips pressed raw!

The manager appeared behind her! “You’ll be perfect!” he whispered! “You already understand! You already participate!”

And then, somewhere in the back, a new tray slid onto a counter! A plate of meat, perfectly prepared, glistening! Lila’s trembling hands hovered above it, and a part of her—small, dark, quiet—wondered if it would taste like fear or regret first!

---

The next day, she arrived early! The lobby was empty, but the air felt thick! The sweet metallic smell lingered, stronger now! The menu boards seemed to shimmer slightly, letters twitching as though alive! The questions from the interview crept back into her mind, strange and impossible to forget!

“Do you hear the walls when they whisper!” she imagined the manager asking!

In the kitchen, the meat moved with a subtle life of its own! Not human—not yet—but the shape and color pressed something deep into her chest! Every slice, every tray she carried made her feel strange! Hungry! Afraid! Complicit!

By the third day, she realized the customers were… different! They smiled as they ate, but their eyes were glazed, glassy! A cough, a wheeze, a tiny gasp—then nothing! She glimpsed their trays later in the back, and the faces on the meat were unmistakable! Small, frozen screams embedded in the flesh!

She wanted to run! But the hallways looped impossibly, the doors dissolved when she reached them! The manager’s questions haunted her every step!

“Do you taste shadows! Do you dream with your hands!”

Each night, Lila delivered trays she didn’t want to touch! Each night, she smelled the sickly sweetness of fear and iron! And each night, the manager’s whisper followed her, patient, soft, insistent!

“Perfect! You’re perfect! You belong! You’ve always belonged!”

And she did! Because once she had crossed that threshold, once she had walked through the kitchen, once she had seen the meat—there was no leaving! No waking up! Only the endless hum of fluorescent light, the metallic-sweet air, and the soft, slow, feverish heartbeat of the restaurant that served endings instead of meals!
