What was absurd were the actual numbers. Even by government standards, factors of WTF in the margin.
Think it was $830mil in 6 months spent to house about 4000 families. That is about 200k/family in 6 months. Pretty sure median household income in US is sub 100k in most areas for whole year.
I've never really looked that closely at the numbers, but holy shit. Are people in Massachusetts really paying $400k to house illegal families in motel level conditions? Clearly some big paws in this cookie jar.
