While I appreciate the sentiment behind this suggestion, it just seems unnecessary and may create the need for additional restrictions/functions. Which adds further complexity for very little, if any, real gain.
I get you're wanting to organize multiple PM's between you and another user into one space to make it look cleaner, less cluttered. But then you're creating a whole other issue. How many "chats" are allowed per account? Can't have an unlimited amount. Now an added layer of restriction has to be implemented to limit it. Let's say they do that. Okay so now you can have these "chats", but each PM inside the chats still count towards your total inbox amount right? So then what's the purpose of adding the feature in the first place when you can already delete each PM prior to the current new PM you have with someone?
As someone has already pointed out, each new PM already comes with the previous PM history attached. So basically, deleting the previous PM's not only accomplishes your goal of reducing clutter, it also has the added benefit of reducing the overall amount of PM's in your inbox. All without changing anything and using the existing system.
I mentioned it , lets say you have 7 conversations going , meaning 7 different users, still the max amount allowd is 50 pms, meaning when you have 43 messages with 1 person you can only have 1 pm received from the other 7 people, yes it adds some complexity regarding coding i belive, but we are all.suggesting these things in order to make it more user friendly and doable for the team that needs to make this happen.
Even without buying anything on d2jsp for real money, every user contributes to the activity of the website.
