It isn't one of the locations, but just had to acknowledge the great guess given that dialogue lol

I'd say there's still 1 "very close" (ie someone was very close).
And we had the 1 winner so far (AnthonyB, abandoned fishing village east of wintertodt camp)

I am willing to say that you "solved" that clue
Now use it in conjunction with other clues to find the spot (You are not close enough to be eligible in this screenshot you provided)

Possibly the point between # 4, #9, #15 ?
