all this crazy stuff with paypal i dont understand. I've got ancient accounts on there and my new visa gift card isn't being accepted. i need help

some pre paid cards dont work online and i think jsp can take days for new payment methods

Gift cards generally or all together aren't accepted as accepted payment methods for both jsp or PayPal. You'll need an actual bank/credit union debit card.
