Born in 1996 in Jabalia refugee camp, Gaza’s largest and most densely populated, al-Sharif grew up amid ongoing conflict and hardship (Jabalia was established after the 1948 Arab-Israeli War). Between 1996 and 2014, al-Sharif’s childhood and adolescence unfolded against the backdrop of the Second Intifada, repeated Israeli military operations in Gaza, and a tightening Israeli and Egyptian blockade imposed after Hamas took control of Gaza in 2007. The siege caused severe shortages of food, medicine, and fuel, leading to widespread suffering. Based on available sources, little is known about his early life. Most accounts begin with his journalism career. He studied Mass Communication at Al-Aqsa University and later joined Al Jazeera Arabic, reporting on Gaza’s realities under siege.

Following Hamas’s October 7, 2023 attacks on Israel, al-Sharif publicly endorsed the assault. His remarks drew strong criticism from Israeli officials and supporters, who questioned his neutrality, while many Palestinians saw his words as a response to decades of occupation and blockade. In December 2023, an Israeli airstrike targeted al-Sharif but instead killed his father, Jamal, who was unable to evacuate due to poor health. Al-Sharif survived this assassination attempt but continued to work as a journalist under constant threat. On August 10, 2025, Israeli security reportedly used intelligence from his phone to locate him. An airstrike near Al-Shifa Hospital struck a media tent, killing al-Sharif and four other journalists. Al-Sharif’s life and death symbolize the tragic fate of the Palestinian people: railing relentlessly against an enemy they cannot defeat. His death stands as a silent, unheard cry against a force systematically erasing them off the face of the earth.

The claim that he was Hamas does not stick when noting Israeli army officers had over the years instructed him to cease coverage. So supportive of Hamas yes, active member, no. When married with the fact that he was reporting from Gaza, when Israel has made a point of not letting international media report whats going on (mass displacement, mass bombings, mass casualties) it is no wonder that (a) he was killed (b) he knew it was going to happen and (c) Israel would label him hamas. As everyone in gaza is called a hamapalestinian by Israeli's, the label "hamas" has lost a lot of its weight.

Israel recently came out and said that Hamas still had 20,000 men, with only 5,000-10,000 killed since Oct 7th.

It’s his personal Telegram channel, where he post Hamas propaganda daily, you can check it yourself.
When did the “dancing Israelis” story turn out to involve Mossad agents? Where is the evidence?

If I saw a plane crash into a building, I’d be excited too, especially without any context.

When they admitted they were working for Mossad?

I sold marijuana in California when I was younger, my small "business" had at least 5 people impersonate my Telegram to scam people. That kind of stuff is childs-play for a shitraeli.

And I absolutely believe you would be excited about a plane crashing into a building in another country. The Talmud tells us exactly what you people believe :hail:  :hail:

There is no record anywhere, FBI file, court transcript, or credible news report of the five men admitting they were Mossad. That’s a made-up line from conspiracy forums, repeated by people who can’t back it up with a single primary source. The FBI interrogated them for weeks, ran polygraphs, and found no evidence of advance knowledge or Mossad employment. They were deported without charges. If you had anything beyond hearsay, you’d post the actual FBI document, but you won’t, because it doesn’t exist. The rest of what you wrote is just recycled antisemitic propaganda that’s been debunked for over a century.

Here’s what one authoritative source laid out:

“none of the Israelis had any information on prior knowledge regarding the bombing of the World Trade Center. Furthermore… none of the Israelis were actively engaged in clandestine intelligence activities in the United States.”

I completely stand behind my answer as I pointed out earlier, plenty of people regardless of background, might react with shock, nervous laughter, or even excitement when witnessing a dramatic, unprecedented event.

Keep smoking 🤦

The rescue of Shlomi Ziv is hard evidence that in Gaza, even people presented to the world as “journalists” and “doctors” can be directly involved in Hamas operations. Ziv was held in the home of Abdallah al-Jamal, described publicly as a journalist, and his father, a doctor. That home was used as a detention site for hostages, which is not journalism, it’s an active role in a war crime.

So spare me with the Anas Al-Sharif BS

Just look at how the BBC frames it:
https://www.bbc.com/news/live/c1dxndnkq6yt

Quote
We've had what the Israeli military has presented as evidence, appearing to show that Sharif was a registered Hamas fighter years before the current war - alongside a payment of $200 (£149) to him after an injury. These spreadsheets are shared with unclear context and don’t appear to be substantial proof.
Earlier, the BBC reported that at some point before the current conflict Sharif did dosome work with a Hamas media team.
However we’ve seen no evidence of Sharif having involvement in the current war or remaining an active member of Hamas, as claimed by the Israeli military. In some of his social media posts before his death, the journalist criticised Hamas.
There’s also been no explanation as to why if Sharif was indeed an active threat, Israel waited ten months since their first accusations against him before killing him.
There is huge scepticism within Gaza and among press freedom groups about what is being communicated by Israel.

The absolute most uncritical, terrorist knob-slobbing framing you can do.
Just evaluate that text on how many words are dedicated to relating factual reporting and how many are framing, suggestion, innuendo, argumentative.

Israel presents their evidence. BBC frames it as "what they've presented as evidence", "appearing", and then making the totally baseless and magical argument that this is "unclear context" and "don't appear to be substantial proof", which they simply pulled out of their own asses. How do they get to make such a determination? That's opining not reporting. Why should Israel draw some distinction about him being Hamas in the past vs present? Is the IDF supposed to split hairs on strike decisions about whether someone might have previously been an enlisted Hamas member but maybe they can't prove he's still currently on their payrolls today? Osama Bin Laden wasn't an active member of Al Qaeda when we got him either, funny that. So the BBC frames that as "No explanation", and "accusations" rather than evidence, and "huge skepticism" from hamas propagandists presented uncritically because that's the side the BBC is allied with.

I care more about the butchery of the truth and BBC printing such obvious propaganda that violates all basic tenets of journalism than the actual story. Imagine being a brit and being forced to fund this trash

Not true, I have Mossad's telegram channel and they even admitted to it. And, I found a piece of paper on the floor the other day that was written by Mossad specifically admitting to it.

68% of their funding comes from taxes levied on british television owners, a hearth tax you need to pay to own a TV. Can't watch wallace and gromit if you don't cough up a shilling for the guys who made Doctor Who into Rocky Horror.

Next foreign source was USAID, which Trump rightly axed the fuck out. It wasn't Qataris funding this propaganda, it was democrats
