i dont think there is any real debate. they made their intentions clear from day 1 "starve them all" and I took their words to heart. certain users see all of gaza as barbarians, less then human etc. and want them to starve, are open to mass displacement (but not ethnic cleansing, apparently thats a dirty word) but now that all of Gaza is actually starving these users brains appear to be broken "they are not starving they are still fat" or "omg the hostages are also starving!?" The cognitive gymnastics are certainly something else.
Its the same with the death toll. Estimates suggest that less then 50 IDF soldiers were killed in the last 2 months and its terrible, terrible, meanwhile twice that number of palestinians are being killed DAILY. But we are not allowed to compare like this because the palestinians lives dont matter apparently.

Yep, not allowed to criticize, not allowed to boycott, not allowed to withhold USDs from the oppressor. Just not the right cultural diversity geography matrix to placate those with power to make change.
The power dynamics remind me of college rehtoric about White Saviours having to champion progress for oppressed people's. Unfortunately, I don't see many Israeli Saviours making headlines. No Kevin Costner on the frontier.
