Proof by assertion, sometimes informally referred to as proof by repeated assertion, is an informal fallacy in which a proposition is repeatedly restated regardless of contradiction and refutation.

Example:

Sane logic - Magic man doesn't exist because xyz and there is no proof that he does.

Confused logical fallacy - yes he does exist

Sane logic - what's your proof?

Confused logical fallacy - he exists because I believe

You are vs your struggle is real.

Saying you are proof of magic is a non answer. You need to be able to connect the dots and articulate how otherwise its simply an assumption.

This is called alleged certainty or begging the question which is another fallacy.

(Asserting a conclusion without evidence or premises, through a statement that makes the conclusion appear certain when, in fact, it is not.)
