standing desk is a big waste of space. i could just use my bed if i wanted a standing desk, its around 4' off the ground.

nn that

i think i want something that is colorful, i really like mouse one's pad but its also too big.

You literally bought yourself a vanity desk to put makeup on from an antique shop. Your argument is irrelevant.

Also why is your bed 4feet off the ground?

because i live in 133sqft studio, i have to think vertically for everything or it wouldn't be possible. The bed frame is built out of cabinets for storage.

I couldn't imagine going through life thinking things could only be used for the one thing they're marketed as. I also trail run in shoes marketed as approach shoes, and don't even get me started on all the non-hair uses for hair ties.

because this desk fits my needs very well. I could close the top if I wanted a bigger mousepad, and I guess that's an option i hadn't considered. with that in mind I think I will order the mouseone pad i was looking at

To be honest, I assumed that you WOULD close the top. I gained 6 new physical conditions just looking at the setup

Closing the top and getting a larger mousepad is 100% the play

Here is the smaller one:

It tracks really well. If you do reasonably precise work with your mouse, e.g., graphics design, or for accurate gaming, I do recommend this. yet, you can actually try different pads out at shops. Yet, no worries if you choose another.

Oh, and order some nice new toys for the cute dog under the bed!

Yeah idk why I hadn’t thought of that yet tbh. Couple spots I can drill holes to run wires. Both of the drawers have like 8” of dead space behind them so I’m going to make an accesss and use that space for cord management.

Oh I didn’t see that. The website was going really slow for me for some reason.

Thanks for your input. It looks a little thin though I think I want something thicker I can push into a bit. Plus more colorful for sure I think black pads are so boring

Thats a tiny space even tommy has a bigger room.

There are a million of designs you could borrow from youtube tiny homes and campervan mods. Aren't you a builder? If so should have no problem sourcing materials. Build a modular shelf/cabinet up to the ceiling along the wall stuff your shit there.

Also why can't you get a bigger studio? Or get a storage container, a friend with a garage, or minimizing all the junk in your life. No excuses.
