Your not being constructive though,you haven't suggested anything besides a app
Your basically saying "hey I got a great idea" and when we ask to elaborate your saying "idk I thought you had the idea"
Even if you had good stuff to add with a app,njaguar has been removing features and forums recently instead of adding features
Plus I doubt he would want to spend any money updating hardware and going through the trouble of probably rewriting the whole site from the ground up to make a app to work on iOS and Android and probably change the way he sells fg completely because iOS and Android want their cut if you want to be on the app store
Thanks for the feedback, NerdLord. I understand the concerns about development costs, platform changes, and past feature removals. Building an app is definitely not a small task, and I’m not under any illusions about that.
That said, the point of this thread is to start the conversation; sometimes fresh ideas come from community members who want to see the platform evolve with its users’ needs.
I’m happy to gather more detailed suggestions from everyone here to create a more concrete proposal. If anyone else has thoughts on features or how an app could realistically work within the current ecosystem, I’d love to hear them.
Ultimately, it’s about whether the community values growth and modern tools enough to push for it together.
