Hey all,

My juicing strategy sucks and I need the pros to rip it to shreds provide some constructive criticism

I'm very new to POE2 and enjoying it so far.

However, my maps aren't juicy enough (at least compared to the maps I see in videos).

In many of the guides, content creators have the majority of their waystones juiced up to 250%+. I understand that quantity + rarity + number of rare monsters is most important, but the more waystones I find the more likely I will be to find waystones with quantity + rarity + more rare monsters.

I will post my current juicing strategy (which is obviously terrible) below. I just juiced a batch of 60 waystones and the highest percent way +185% (with no quantity or rarity)...

Please critique my juicing strategy and tell me what dumb mistakes I am making!

Step 1: I wait until I have 50+ tier 15 waystones. I juice them all with Alchemy > Augmentation > Regal > Exalts until I can't juice them any further.

Step 2: Any waystones with quantity and rarity I set aside, and instill them with various emotions (usually ire or greed).

Step 3: Any waystones that did not roll with quantity and rarity I corrupt. Any of the corrupted waystones that now have quantity and rarity I pull out, along with any that are tier 16.

My Atlas has all of the recommended nodes increasing quantity, rarity, and explicit modifiers on waystones.

What obvious mistake am I making? Why is my juciest waystone falling short of 200% when everyone else is cranking out 300%+ like it is nothing?

Sorry, I meant they are running waystones with increased waystone drop chance of 300%+.

Maybe the videos are pre 0.2 and suffix’s used to have a larger impact on waystone drop chance..?

There's a simple reason why it sucks itès because waystones need to be bought you don't ever make them.

You search the site with a filter that has 4-5 mods that you want and remove 30 mods you don't want.

The reason why you can't make those yourself is because you could craft 100 of em and not a single map will meet those criteria.

what you are doing is correct, but you are forgeting that towers are the way to go

Save your best waystones for an area with several towers, and use crazy tablets on them (arbiter is a good way to get better tablets). That's how you will juice stuff up!

My minion lich is getting shut down really hard by Simulacrum +1, so I have to find someway to improve my loot I guess!

Only add 3 prefix not max exalt's...
Prefix are beneficial, suftix are deficits.
Once you alch, usually 1-2 ex. Having 3pre 1 suff is optimal. Less bricks, more gains.
Overlap your towers, but CLEAR ALL TRASH MAPS before using tablets to guarantee that,
ALL GOOD MAPS RECEIVE THE TABLETS MODS. Some tablets are worth several div each.

This is crucial. You dont want 13 breaches in vaal factory....or foundry, mire etc.

Then, you ONLY RUN MAPS WITH
Quantity/Rarity
Rarity
Increased Rares.

Same for Tablets, ONLY use quantity/rarity/increased rare. Any one or combo of the three is fine.
On very high quant/rarity DO NOT vaal in case of bricks, one good map is worth hundred or more ex each until it rerolls mods when vaal'd.

Take these maps and further juice them with delirium.
I personally ONLY add Increased Rares with my emtions. This will allow up to or more than 150% inc rares.
Only snipe elite packs, rinse n repeat.

Anything else is a brick, use them to clear the shit maps before using tablets.


If anyone cares to disagree thats your opinion and i dont care what you think, but your welcome to share. I however wont be reading it.
I adapted this strategy from Fubgun, its tried tested and true.

Edit: When i craft my maps i get 2/3 of them as good maps and 1/3 as bricks i usually craft an entire tab at once so like 100 good and 40.bad. Then Vaal all your bricks to get even more come back with quant/rarity/increased rares. If they dont one or more of these prefix then its a brick.

If you must have t16's, just vaal the single ideal prefix maps with low rolls to avoid losing good maps.
The currency and items primarily come from champs and elites so dont waste time killing all the trash.
The time spent clearing 1 entire map i likely do 3-4 maps in the same time sniping elites/bosses.
Also bosses are the kings of drops, focus maps that are boss orientated for maximizing profit. No one considers raw currency drops as income, they are just not plentiful enough.

not hard to reach 300% rarity

quant is better imo and you want to use paranoia not ire or greed

rest comes down to rairty on gear, how many in map or solo play and tablets
