I don’t think there is a saw visible in that picture lol. My sawzall is around the corner in the pic, what you’re seeing is a bulldog or sds drill. Used for chipping and drilling concrete.

That water must be rusty and causing learning disabilities in children. I would have that removed and replaced as a priority.

Yeah an inline filter is always recommended for older houses. I’ve done some remodels where you turn the faucet on full and get drip drip drip. Cut open the pipe and it’s 100% packed with rust and sediment. I do not drink water from older houses unless it’s filtered or I know the plumbing has been upgraded

Going to share a few other jobs I’ve done in the recent past. First up:

This is a $40,000 sapele (sapele is a type of hard wood, as my name may give away I am extremely proficient with hardwoods) pivot door I installed a few weeks back. Pivot doors don’t have hinges, rather they have a pin top and bottom of the door that goes into a hole on the floor/top of jamb. The pivots are typically inset so you get a door that pivots somewhere other than the edge.

This is from a few years ago, my friends and I call this the Sapele house because the wood finishes were 90%+ sapele. Same wood but not the same house as the door. This house is only two floors and they have a full size elevator. It makes me cry to know I’ll never be able to afford my own work, this was a $15,000,0000 lot before we built the house

This is probably one of the funnest houses I’ve worked on, the owner is germanys largest concert promoter Marek Liberberg, he’s worth 875 million and didn’t even give us Christmas gifts for the two Christmas’s we worked through. He did say he would find me a gf though so I’m holding fast.

Shout out to everyone for staying on topic, thanks gentlefolk. This is my gift to jsp; I can share advice, teach, instruct, whatever, in regards to construction. Wealthy people are out of touch with reality. You can sell them a garbage bag for 10k if you attach some bullshit story.

I would of been his personal builder if I was you. Get him to keep you on retainer for 200k a year just to show up and change a lightbulb or hang a picture on the wall.
Thats how I got my current job. Its fucking great.
