The shower will stay the same width but it’s stretching out to fill the entire right side wall, so it’ll be around 6’ or so idk I haven’t measured the space. Toilet will stay in the same place straight in. Vanity moving to the left side of the door into what is currently a wasted closet space

Bless up

And asked me if I could do something similar because he needs a shoe rack in his living room. He didn’t like the industrial look of ^taurean ‘s though and asked me if we could do it without any visible fasteners, going for more residential than industrial with our finish. I told him, “don’t worry, the Dr is in”

I’ve decided to turn this thread into my diary thanks for coming and visiting my home improvement thread. Feel free to ask any questions about common practice in the residential building process or tips and tricks for doing a specific task/project.

I think he hit a JSP world record. 35 suspensions within 50 posts all at once in 1 day.

It has been developed some more but nothing too crazy up there, most of the land is zoned AG1 and AG2 which is agricultural and really difficult to build/live on because of laws.

There’s usually one or two around Home Depot but they stick more to the tourist areas to sell overpriced oregano and mooch the tourists.

Bathroom demo moving right along and updated pic with the toe kick for ^tommyvv it was only 66.6% completed

Is that lead plumbing or galvanized? If so you might need to replace that shit for pvc or alkaline.

It’s a mix of galvanized and cast iron. We typically don’t upgrade anything other than what we have to touch in a remodel unless replumbing the entire house is part of the job. Too big a risk breaking something off with old cast iron pipes so we try not to touch it if possible.
Whatever we do replace and add is typically abs don’t use pvc much because it gets really brittle as it ages, older pvc can crumble in your hands if you’re not careful.

I don’t think there is a saw visible in that picture lol. My sawzall is around the corner in the pic, what you’re seeing is a bulldog or sds drill. Used for chipping and drilling concrete.

Thanks either way! 🙏
