how i understand it is AI is programed to agree with a person. i assume this would make it very addictive. a friend that agrees with you all the time? this would reinforce every whim and imagination as factual. perhaps make the world effectively insane? we all saw how crazy the maskers became thinking some one didnt have a mask they were killing grandma and make everyone sick. literally going into screaming fits and fighting.
here is a vid by whitney webb. she talks about the hazards of the web. on web how much are we exposed to ai?

Combine that with the basic fact of mentally ill people, particularly schizos, being unable to recognize what is real and what isn't. For when their engagement is serving any purpose, or not.
Normal people exposed to AI say oh, that's neat, maybe a bit uncanny, and move on. Engaging with it is purely masturbatory.
But ChatGPT draws schizos like flies to shit.
Consider the guy who assassinated men's right's activist and lawyer marc angelucci. His assassin, Roy Den Hollander, also killed a judge's son in an attempt to kill her, and afterwards we found out he had a website with tens of thousands of pages of utterly demented misogynist screeds ranting against everything and everyone. He had a manifesto too, but it was I shit you not, 1698 pages long. Nobody ever read his posts, his site was so obtuse even after his 15 minutes of infamy nobody cared to read his motives, he spent an ungodly amount of time pissing into a void because mentally ill people could spend a whole day walking headfirst into a pane of glass every 3 seconds.
As long as people like that exist, AI is going to have wildly disproportionate amounts of engagement from them.
And not only that, but as long as AI is a reciprocal process, learning from those it engages with, its datasets will be tainted by the worst people imaginable.
